Justice Gautham, Bombay high court judge, mentioned that video conference hearing is one of the best things to have come out of covid-19 pandemic. Each and every judge should be given an option to conduct proceedings either physical or virtual. He pointed out that this practise should be followed even after the end of the pandemic.
Today, the honourable Supreme Court of India refused to quash FIRs against Journalist Amish Devgan who made derogatory remarks against Sufi Saint Moinuddin Chisthi. As per reports, a total of 7 FIRs have been registered against Amish in different states in India.
