The supreme court has deferred the hearing of stubble burning case till next week. During a light- hearted interaction with lawyers, Supreme Court advise lawyers to use bicycles instead of beautiful cars. It also mentioned that stubble burning is not the sole reason for air pollution.
The Delhi Government has clarified before the Delhi HC that a personal vehicle is not a private zone so any person inside in it must wear a mask. This statement was made in a petition where an advocate sought Rs.10 lakh as compensation after he was fined for not wearing a mask while driving.
The honourable Supreme Court has directed Airtel and Vodafone to disclose information sought by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India regarding segmented offers. And mentioned that, TRAI has the onus to keep such information confidential.
Recently, a senior judicial officer has moved a plea in Uttarakhand high court challenging the inquiry against him for sexual harassment. In this case, the court dismissed his plea where the honourable Supreme Court has refused to intervene with Uttarakhand's court order.
