The Supreme Court Women Lawyers Association wrote a letter to CJI, urging him to make experienced Women lawyers in SC as HC judges. The said letter was made on a suggestion given by the Attorney General for India.
While hearing a batch of PILs, the honourable Supreme Court indicated that a committee may be formed with members of farmers organisations in order to resolve the deadlock and end the protest. The court observed that the negotiations made by the government are not producing any yield, if the dispute is not settled soon, it may become a national issue.
