Recently, a senior judicial officer has moved a plea in Uttarakhand high court challenging the inquiry against him for sexual harassment. In this case, the court dismissed his plea where the honourable Supreme Court has refused to intervene with Uttarakhand's court order.
A trans woman has moved a petition in the high court of Kerala challenging the provision (Section-6) of National Cadet Corps Act, 1948 as unconstitutional as it permits only male and females to enrol as cadets with the corps. After hearing this matter, Justice Devan Ramachandran has listed the matter for further hearing on November 6.
