SC denies information on reason of overstay of justice Arun Mishra

In response to an application filed under the RTI Act which sought details about retired SC justice Arun mishra’s overstay in his official bungalow, the SC revealed that information in this regard cannot be provided as the same are exempt under sec-8(1)(i) & Section- 11(1) of the RTI Act.

CAPITAL’S FIRST STATE ADVISORY BOARD

The national capital has constituted its first state advisory board on disability under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act with Social Welfare Minister Rajendra Pal Gautam as the ex-officio chairperson. The Board aims to study the problems faced by disabled persons and discuss them with the government. The Board consists of 45 members who will be principal secretaries of various departments, 3 MLA’s, 18 nominated members and five nominated District Magistrates.
