SC adjourns PIL seeking directions to control UP forest fires

Yesterday, the National Green Tribunal imposed a total ban on use and sale of all kinds of crackers in NCR and in all cities/ towns in the country where the air quality is poor and above category.

A Delhi court has directed to preserve the video footage of the police raid at the house of advocate Mehmood Pracha. But, the question related to sharing of the footage with Pracha is still not decided.

The high court of Calcutta held that even a trespasser, unless evicted by the due process of law is entitled to electricity.
