A Special CBI court in Lucknow has acquitted all 32 accused in the Babri masjid demolition issue on Wednesday due to lack of evidence and it stated that the demolition was not pre-planned one. Rights activists from several civil society organisations described the verdict as yet another mail in the coffin of Indian democracy. They demanded the CBI to challenge the verdict in higher court.

Due to ongoing pandemic, the Central government in its affidavit before the honourable Supreme Court has agreed to waive off compound interest for loans up to 2 crores during the six months loan moratorium period. The relief on waiving off compound interest will be for MSME loans, education loans, housing loans, consumer loans, durable loans, credit basis loans, auto loans, personal loans, consumption loans, all up to 2 crores.
