The high court of Chhattisgarh held that an accused should be informed about filing of charge sheet, specially when he is on bail. And also held that the criminal courts should not issue non-bailable warrants of arrest straightaway at the first instance.
Recently, the honourable Supreme Court of India has constituted a committee for negotiation of farmers protests and stayed the implementation of farm laws. Dr.Anuj Bhuwania has stated that the court is acting like a panchayat, in a sense, rather than a constitutional court.
The centre in its affidavit opposed the plea to debar the persons convicted in criminal cases whether MLA, MP, members of judiciary from legislature, executive and judiciary for life.
