The Legal and Compliance Consultant’s role will be to work with the legal and compliance team to assist with contracts across
credit information, technology, software services, and to assist with related CICRA, regulatory and data protection matters.
Working as a key member of the small legal team, the candidate will apply his/her skills to help manage risk to the business and
provide solutions. The candidate will support the legal team to liaise with external partners and internal stakeholders to pursue
and resolve IP and commercial contract issues. The candidate would pragmatic, diligent and detail-oriented, possess a strong
analytical mind, be an independent thinker and have a strong aptitude for problem solving. The ideal candidate will have excellent
written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, along with the fervent desire to continuously learn about different products
and technologies.

Company needs to address.
 Being the internal point of contact for legal advice and providing broad advice to internal departments on legal and
contractual matters.

What you’ll be doing
 Prepare and negotiate contractual arrangements, advise on legal risks in relation to third party contracting, including
review of supplier terms where appropriate
 Be responsible for progressing requests for contractual changes from start to finish, ensuring relevant business
processes are followed and involving appropriate stakeholders
 Enable contract signing and storage electronically
 Legal research on Contracts/ IT/ IP/ data protection issues
 Develop and maintain great working relationships with stakeholders and business leads
 Manage workload in a timely and effective manner and proactively communicate to stakeholders on progress
 Ensure contracts procedures and policies are followed and risks escalated
 Drive standardization of delivery and activities to provide efficient service
 Demonstrate sharp attention to detail in executing and reviewing work products to ensure the highest quality
deliverables in the allotted timeframe
 Integrate and synthesize information from multiple teams, including product, legal and policy domain knowledge, in
order to analyze complex issues, mitigate risks and solve problems

Solid legal training and experience/internships within law firms or in-house
 Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact and present to executives and
senior management
 Excellent drafting skills
 Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize workload
 Able to work as a team member, providing support as well as working autonomously on own projects and using
initiative to flag issues where necessary
 Able to conduct thorough and accurate research, ensuring attention to detail
 Ability to exercise discretion and to remain poised under pressure
Able to demonstrate resilience and the ability to manage a diverse workload
 6months -2 years of experience working on legal, compliance, privacy, and/or security related projects
